Canker Sore Symptoms
Canker sores are usually quite easy to spot even without seeing them in a mirror. They are often a small lump inside the mouth on the gums, the soft palate, the inside cheeks or on the tongue. It will likely be big enough for you to notice when you run your tongue over it. When you touch it with your tongue or a finger you will notice a sharp pain.
The look of a canker sore inside your mouth is usually a small round sore either white or gray in color. The white or gray area will be surrounded by very sore skin usually a bright red color.
Some people might suffer from severe canker sores in which case the above symptoms and the overall pain will be much more prevelant. Severe canker sores might also cause exhaustion, swollen lymph nodes and even in extreme cases a fever.
